A free Gantt chart template in Excel and Google Sheets. Type each task with a phase, an owner, a start date and how many days it takes. The end date works itself out and the bar draws itself on a 26-week timeline, shaded by how much is done, with this week marked.
Longer project? Change the week the timeline starts from and the chart moves along. The Summary shows the project start and end, how many days it runs, how many tasks are done, in progress or not started, and the overall percent complete weighted by task length.
Room for 80 tasks. No macros and no add-ins, so it works the same everywhere.
