Automation Readiness
Automation readiness is an assessment of whether a given process is stable, well-understood, and rule-based enough to safely automate.
Example
A process assessed as low readiness because it still requires frequent ad hoc judgment calls, deliberately left manual until it stabilizes.
Why it matters
Automating an unstable or poorly understood process does not fix it. It just makes the same problems happen faster and less visibly.
