Critical Few

The critical few is the small set of factors, clients, or activities that account for most of a business's results, distinct from the larger "useful many."

Example

Out of thirty active clients, five account for most of the revenue; those five are the critical few worth the closest relationship attention.

Why it matters

Naming the critical few explicitly protects them from getting the same routine treatment as everything else, when they deserve a higher level of attention.

Limits and cautions

Over-focusing on the critical few can mean neglecting the useful many enough that some of them quietly churn or underperform.

Relevance to Stelaah

Stelaah's reporting can rank clients or projects by contribution, making the critical few visible rather than a matter of guesswork.

This connection describes product intent, not a guarantee that every plan or workflow supports every related capability.
