Feature Adoption

Feature adoption is the rate at which intended users actually start and continue using a specific capability after it becomes available to them.

Example

A team ships a new reporting view and tracks what share of active users open it at least once, and how many return to it the following week.

Why it matters

Shipping a feature is not the same as it being used. Tracking adoption separately from release reveals whether the investment is paying off.

Limits and cautions

Low initial adoption doesn't always mean the feature failed. It can mean discoverability is poor, or the audience hasn't reached the moment they need it yet.

Relevance to Stelaah

Stelaah's usage data can inform whether a workflow or module is actually being used by a workspace's team, where that visibility is supported.

This connection describes product intent, not a guarantee that every plan or workflow supports every related capability.
