Win Rate

Win rate is the share of proposals or opportunities that convert into signed business, out of all the ones that reached a decision.

Example

A business sends 20 proposals in a quarter and 6 are accepted, for a win rate of 30%, distinct from the number still pending a decision.

Why it matters

Tracking win rate by proposal type or client segment reveals where a pitch is genuinely landing and where it consistently isn't.

Limits and cautions

A rising win rate achieved by only pursuing easy, low-value opportunities isn't necessarily a healthy trend.

Relevance to Stelaah

Stelaah's estimates and proposal records can track outcome status, giving win rate a factual basis where that data is recorded.
