Context Health
Context health is the completeness, freshness, provenance, and accessibility of the context needed to act on a piece of work.
Example
A task that shows the client decision behind it, the source document, and who approved it, rather than just a title and a due date.
Why it matters
Poor context health forces people to reconstruct decisions from memory or scattered messages, which slows work and increases the risk of acting on outdated information.
Limits and cautions
More notes attached to a record do not automatically mean better context health. Freshness and provenance matter as much as volume.
