Does this remove every AI watermark?
No. A text cleaner can remove visible formatting and character-level artifacts. It cannot verify or erase provider logs, signed metadata outside the pasted string, cryptographic provenance, or robust statistical watermarks encoded in token choices. It also does not cancel disclosure duties that may apply to published content.
Is my pasted text uploaded?
No. The cleanup engine runs in this browser and does not transmit the source or result. It does not save the text to browser storage and clears the working text when the page reloads. Avoid pasting secrets on a shared device.
Why are emoji and some scripts protected by default?
Zero-width joiners, non-joiners, variation selectors, and directional marks can be meaningful in emoji, Arabic, Persian, Indic scripts, and other writing systems. Essential and Plain text modes preserve the riskiest characters. Deep clean removes more and clearly warns that meaning or appearance may change.
Can I use this as a ChatGPT formatting remover?
Yes. Plain text mode can simplify Markdown headings, emphasis, links, lists, code fences, common HTML tags, smart punctuation, and unusual spacing while keeping the readable words and paragraphs available to copy.
